The Los Angeles Dodgers fulfilled a 32-year journey to win their seventh World Series championship in franchise history in 2020 by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in six games.
Thus, a new journey begins in 2021, a quest for the franchise’s first back-to-back title wins ever. The last team to go back to back was the New York Yankees, when they won three in a row stemming from 1998-2000.
A huge part of the 2021 season will be the return of the fans to Dodger Stadium, and also a return to a full 162-game season, including matchups with NL Central and East opponents once more, and interleague meetings with the AL West.
Cheer on the Dodgers this season as they welcome familiar foes such as the team’s hated rival, the San Francisco Giants, playoff-opponent and neighbors to the south, the San Diego Padres, public enemy No. 1, the Houston Astros, and the Angels of Anaheim.
