POST-GAME BRIEFINGS
Game 1:
The Dodgers had everything working for them in game 1 of the doubleheader as runs came plenty for them and Clayton Kershaw was good as as advertised. The Dodgers saw some small ball for most of the runs until AJ Pollock blew the game wide open with a two-run home run which would cap off an already impressive game 1 win. These games only go into the 7th inning, so Dodgers fans would get to celebrate a quick and decisive victory.
Game 2:
The Dodgers would also end up taking game 2 of this doubleheader as the runs were at a premium for the Dodgers as they only managed to scratch two off the Giants. However, that would be all they need as their pitching staff had the Giants lineup guessing the whole time during this game as it was a bullpen game for the Dodgers, so multiple pitchers were used throughout this game.

PLAY OF THE GAME: GAME 2
Play of the game goes to the Dodgers pitching staff for their effort in silencing the Giants bats and keeping them scoreless through the unique 7 inning affair. Everyone that pitched this game deserves credit for the win, however, if one pitcher had to get the spotlight it would be left-handed pitcher Victor Gonazalez, went 2.1 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts.

PLAYER OF THE GAME: GAME 1
Player of the game for game 1 of this doubleheader goes to Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw as he went 6 solid innings with no runs given up and also 4 strikeouts. As mentioned before, his stuff was sharp and with not playing a game yesterday, he didn’t seem to faze him at all.
Never will get tired of Kershaw striking out Giants

PLAYER OF THE GAME: GAME 2
Player of the game for game 2 goes to Joc Pederson as he went 2 for 2 with a solo home run as that would really be the only thing the Dodgers needed to secure the 7 inning victory.
