POST-GAME BRIEFING
The Dodgers were in cruise-control for much of game one of this three-game series vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Dodgers pitching and offense were clicking on all cylinders. Julio Urías looked dominant in his eighth start of the year, and he certainly needed it, given his inconsistent outings so far this season. He went six innings and only gave up one run along with five strikeouts. This was the third time this season Urías has gone at least six innings. While most of the lineup was quiet throughout the night, it was a huge game for Chris Taylor who had two doubles and drove in four runs. Reliever Scott Alexander was roughed up in the 9th inning, giving up a two-run homer, which forced Dave Roberts to bring in Kenley Jansen to shut the door. The Dodgers won 6-3.

DLD PLAYER OF THE GAME
The DLD Player of the Game goes to starter Julio Urías. After coming off two subpar outings, lasting a combined 5.2 innings, he went 6 strong innings tonight. He struck out five while only giving up a run on four hits. Hopefully this start gives him enough confidence he can ride throughout the rest of this short season and be ready for the postseason.
Props to Julio Urías
Tonight he went 6 IP, 5 K's, 1 ER, and 4 hits allowed

UP NEXT
The Dodgers will look to take the second game of this series as they will send Walker Buehler to the mound, making his first start since missing a game due to a blister issue.
The Diamondbacks will counter with Zac Gallen who has been sharp for Arizona. In seven starts, he has a 2.09 ERA in 43 innings pitched along with 47 strikeouts. Game time will be at 6:40 PT.
