Everything seemed to be working well again tonight as the Dodgers are firing on all cylinders, both pitching and hitting wise. Walker Buehler tossed his best outing of the 2020 season as he went 6 innings, giving up only a run and striking out 11. The Dodgers bats came alive in this game, even if Buehler didn’t need the extra run support as they ended scoring 5 runs.

PLAY OF THE GAME
Play of the game goes to Corey Seager. His 2 run double helped seal the deal for the Dodgers win. This would be all the team needed, even with the extra insurance run scored in the 6th.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
Player of the game goes to Walker Buehler. He racked up 11 strikeouts having the best outing of his 2020 season. Buehler’s stuff was electric as hitters couldn’t figure him out. He got into some trouble in the 6th inning but was able to get out of it only giving up 1 run.

NEXT UP
The Dodgers will look to take two games in this 3 game set as they will have the guy with flowing red hair Dustin May starting for them. He is entering with a 1-1 record and a 3.00 ERA with 19 strikeouts. May will look to have a more extended outing than last time since he only went 4.1 innings against the Angels.
The Rockies will counter with left-handed pitcher Kyle Freeland who has a 2-1 record with a 2.56 ERA and 18 strikeouts. Freeland pitched exceptionally well in his last start going 6 innings, only giving up 2 runs with 5 strikeouts. Tomorrow’s game will start at 6:10 PT.
