POST-GAME BRIEFING
This was a wild, run-scoring affair at Oracle Park last night as the Dodgers and Giants battled it out into extra innings (11 total, in fact). Runs were plentiful for both teams, but the Giants won with a walk-off tw0-run blast from Donovan Solano, handing San Francisco the victory, 10-8. The new extra innings rule was on display tonight as both teams exchanged runs in both the 10th and the 11th.
Three-run homers from both Max Muncy (in the 1st, and on his birthday) and Corey Seager (in the 3rd) helped the Dodgers keep pace with the Giants, though they battled back with two bombs of their own, both from Brandon Belt. The bullpens also got a workout, with both teams using a total of 16 relievers from the 5th inning on to finish the game.
