Here’s a brief recap of Dodger news for the last couple of days.
- The Dodgers won their 100th game this season. It’s the 7th time in franchise history they’ve reached 100+ wins in a season. It’s only the 2nd time they’ve won 100+ games within 3 years (1941/1942 & 2017/2019). They also won their 59th home game, finishing with a .728 win percentage which are both 2nd bests in franchise history.
- The Dodgers set a new franchise attendance record at 3,974,309. The previous record was set last year in 2018 with an attendance of 3,857,500.
- Muncy, still dealing with a minor quad issue, was available off the bench Sunday but eventually wasn’t used.
- Hyun-Jin Ryu finished Sunday with a season career-high 156 strikeouts. And at the moment, he also has a season career-high of 6.50 strikeouts for every walk issued.
- Cody Bellinger’s grand slam off Jake McGee Sunday tied JD Martinez for the most home runs (18) off a left-handed pitcher in baseball this season.
- Corey Seager was named National League Player Of The Week Monday. He finished with a .500 average, 1.000 slugging percentage, 7 runs batted in, 5 runs, 2 doubles, and 1 triple in 21 plate appearances.
