Here’s a brief recap of Dodger news from the last couple of days.

  • The Dodgers announced the names of the 2 new minority shareowners: Robert L. Plummer and Alan Smolinisky.
  • Gavin Lux and Josiah Gray were named the Dodgers Branch Rickey minor league player and pitcher of the year. They were also named the organization’s player and pitcher of the year by MLB Pipeline.
  • Gavin Lux finished the year as the number 2 prospect in MLB Pipeline’s top 100. Also, finishing in the top 100 was Dustin May (33), Keibert Ruiz (34), Josiah Gray (76), and Jeter Downs (88).
  • Rich Hill finished his sim game on Friday feeling good and is slated to start Tuesday as an opener.
  • Justin Turner made an appearance on Friday and will start today and tomorrow but with limited playing time.
  • The Dodgers switched up the rotation for the weekend series against the Rockies at Dodger Stadium. It began with Clayton Kershaw last night, Walker Buehler tonight, and Hyun-Jin Ryu tomorrow.
