Today is not only July 2nd but it is International Signing Day! This is the start of the 2019-2020 international signing period in which every major league franchise can sign prospects from around the world. This post will keep track of all the Dodgers’ international signees.
For the 2019-2020 international signing period, the Dodgers will have $4,821,400 to spend. They would have had more to spend but they lost $500,000 when they signed outfielder A.J. Pollock this past offseason. The Dodgers could, however, increase their spending pool by making trades for international spending money. Teams can trade up to 60% of their initial pool, meaning the Dodgers can reach a maximum of $7,714,240 in trades.
Without further ado, here are the newest additions to the Dodgers organization. Information will be added as it becomes known.
