Buehler returns to the active roster after being placed on the injured list on August 27 due to a blister on his throwing hand. He will start tonight’s game against the Diamondbacks.
Alexander is getting sent down after struggling in his last 5 appearances (4.0 innings, 6.75 ERA, 1/5 K/BB). The Dodgers will rely on left-handers Caleb Ferguson, Jake McGee, Adam Kolarek, Víctor González, and newly activated Alex Wood while Alexander works on making some adjustments.
