Starting pitcher Roki Sasaki is the jewel prize of the international free agents, and while the Dodgers have made signing Sasaki ‘a major priority’ ahead of the 2025 season, the team has emptied its remaining resources to sign a few more players to conclude the 2023-24 period.

Coming from the Dominican Republic are infielders Antoni Urena and Hendry Arvelo, along with pitchers Cesar Sanchez, Samuel Savinon, Shai Romero and Aneudy Almonte.
The Dodgers also signed pitcher Alexis Reyes from Venezuela.
With just over $2.5 million remaining in their yearly allotment, the Dodgers were well ahead of other MLB teams, according to AP News with an allotment of $2,502,500. The Orioles ($2.1 million) and Yankees ($1.4 million) were the teams just behind the Dodgers. Trailing the Dodgers in the National League was the Giants with $1.2 million.
The numbers will reset in 2025, when the Dodgers are set to have an allotment of $5.1 million, and are expected to use it all in an offer to Sasaki.
