Dodgers Win 4-1 Amid Seventh Inning Rainout

On Wednesday, the Dodgers hosted the Milwaukee Brewers after the team’s final off-day of the Cactus League season on Tuesday. The Brewers entered the game as winners of three of their last four games.

Walker Buehler made the start for the Dodgers on Wednesday, working through four innings total. Buehler allowed one run on three hits and three walks, striking out four during his start. As for the Brewers, Freddy Peralta took the starting role on Wednesday. Peralta made it through four and one-third innings, allowing three runs while striking out eight batters.

The Dodgers move to 10-7 with this win over the Brewers, giving them the fourth-best record in the Cactus League. Thursday has the Dodgers’ second of three split-squad days in-store. Ross Stripling will start for the half of the team that travels to Mesa, AZ to take on Jon Lester and the Chicago Cubs, while David Price and the other half will host Jesus Luzardo and the Oakland Athletics at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ. Both games are scheduled to begin at 1:05 PM PT.
