Lasorda, 93, was admitted to a local hospital in Orange County around the middle of November and was reportedly in serious condition while in the ICU. There were unconfirmed reports that he required sedation and was put on a ventilator. Neither the Lasorda family nor the Dodgers have revealed the reason for Lasorda’s hospitalization but it was COVID-19 related.
