Scott Boras, the agent of pending superstar free agent, Bryce Harper, conducted an interview with the baseball experts at YES Network earlier this week and was asked the question everyone is dying to know the answer to;

“Where will Bryce Harper be playing in 2019?”

While Boras has a track record of stealing headlines and stirring the pot in situations like these, what Boras offered to YES Network host, Michael Kay, is something to take into consideration.

Boras told Kay, “We know who the team is. It’s already completed and done, but Bryce has told me that he wanted to tell you personally.”

With the Dodgers below the Competitive Balance Tax (Luxury Tax) threshold this season, Los Angeles is in prime position to make a big splash this offseason, and Bryce Harper may be a player that the front office pursues. Speculation clearly cuts the Dodgers as a frontrunner in the sweepstakes for Harper, and should the team mentioned by Boras in his interview be Los Angeles, the Dodgers could be in for great things in 2019.

Harper drove in 100 RBIs this season for the Washington Nationals, blasting 34 home runs while hitting to the tune of a .249 average.
