Rumors: Dodgers Are Showing “Early Interest” In Korean LHP Kwang-Hyun Kim

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the SK Wyverns of the Korean Baseball Organization have agreed to post left-handed pitcher Kwang-Hyun Kim and the Mets, Royals, Diamondbacks, Cubs, and Dodgers are all reportedly showing early interest.

Excerpt from Ken Rosenthal’s latest article: “Left-hander Kwang-Hyun Kim, who was posted Friday by his Korean team, SK Wyverns, is drawing early interest from the Mets, Royals, Dodgers, Diamondbacks and Cubs, sources say.”

Kim, 31, has pitched in Korea for 12 years and is 136-77 with a 3.27 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and a 1,456/646 K/BB ratio in 1,673.2 innings. This past season for the Wyverns Kim went 17-6 with a 2.51 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 180/38 K/BB ratio in 190.1 innings.
