Seemingly out of nowhere Monday evening, Chris Russell and Chris Lingebach, host and lead writer respectively at D.C.’s sports talk radio station 106.7 The Fan, reported the taking place of a meeting last week between 2019 World Series MVP, Stephen Strasburg, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

According to Russell, the meeting’s occurrence was discussed on the radio show around the 3:00pm PT hour on Monday.

Strasburg, 31, made thirty-three starts for the Washington Nationals in 2019, completing an NL-best 209 IP while posting a 3.32 ERA. Strasburg made five starts during the 2019 MLB Postseason, recording an 11.6 K/9 and a 1.98 ERA to go with his World Series ring and MVP trophy for his efforts in the Fall Classic.
