The Dodgers have announced that they have acquired cash considerations from the Angels in exchange for minor league left-handed pitcher Adam McCreery and minor league catcher Josh Thole.
The Dodgers today activated OF A.J. Pollock from the 60-day injured list. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers traded LHP Adam McCreery and catcher Josh Thole to the Los Angeles Angels for cash considerations.

McCreery, 26, was acquired by the Dodgers back in November in a trade with the Braves in exchange for cash considerations after he was designated for assignment by Atlanta. He went 2-1 with a 2.12 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and an 18/9 K/BB ratio in 17.0 innings with Double-A Tulsa before getting promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma City where he went 0-0 with a 5.79 ERA, 2.25 WHIP, and a 21/14 K/BB ratio in 18.2 innings. By dealing McCreery the Dodgers created a spot on their 40-man roster and in a corresponding move they announced that they have activated outfielder A.J. Pollock off of the 60-day injured list.
Thole, 32, signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in January with the sole purpose of providing depth in the minor leagues. Thole hit .245 BA/.348 OBP/.302 SLG/.650 OPS with 5 doubles, 1 home run, 14 runs batted in, 15 runs scored, and a 35/21 K/BB ratio in 47 games played between Triple-A Oklahoma City and Double-A Tulsa.
