The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today that the team has extended the protective netting in the stadium an additional 124 feet along the baselines.
The extended netting will be in place when the team returns home on September 2nd.
The Dodgers have announced that extended netting will be in place at Dodger Stadium when the team returns home on 9/2. Earlier this season the team enhanced the netting behind home plate and above the dugouts, but today’s news extends the netting all along the baselines.
The team could continue it’s expansion of protective netting in the offseason as well, extending it all the way to the foul poles.
