Los Angeles is under duress of up to 99 mph winds, which is waging fires across Pacific Palisades and Eaton Canyon as terrifying photos continued to trickle in through social media Tueday night into Wednesday morning.

The winds have been felt throughout Southern California, though, and Dodger Stadium has been no exception as shared by Dodgers senior director of social media Sue Jo on Instagram (@suebaaby).

With a caption of “so windy the foul pole’s moving,” she shares video of Dodger Stadium under construction, and the right field foul pole dancing like never seen before, reminiscent of a special effect you might see in a baseball movie where a character bends the foul pole outward to ensure a home run stays fair.

Sue Jo, a native of Chicago, then shares the wind’s effect on a few of the palm trees synonymous with Dodger Stadium, laughing at posts, saying “posting windy videos like I’m not from the Windy City (Chicago)”.

Finally, she shares a photo of a tree falling on somebody’s car at the stadium in what looks to be outside the loge entrance near lots A and B.

What the Weather Forecast Says for Wednesday

A high wind warning remains in effect by the National Weather Service for California until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening. Wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible. Looking into the wind forecast in Los Angeles, the heavy winds should tail off after this high wind warning subsides, and mellow out for the remainder of the week.

Please stay safe out there, Dodger fans. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the winds and fires throughout Los Angeles County.
