Today is the deadline for all 30 major league clubs to decide which of their Rule-5 eligible prospects they will add to the 40-man roster. The Dodgers have 25 minor leaguers that are Rule-5 eligible.
Here a look at the Dodgers’ minor leaguers who are Rule-5 eligible:

Of these 25 minor leaguers, four of them are currently listed by MLBPipeline.com on the team’s top 30 prospects list. Those four are RHP Mitchell White (#9), OF DJ Peters (#12), 3B/1B Cristian Santana (#23), and RHP Jordan Sheffield (#26).
The Dodgers currently have 37 spots on their 40-man roster so if they elected to protect White, Peters, Santana, and Sheffield they would need to create room. The team could create some room by designating a player or players who are out of options. RHP JT Chargois, RHP Yimi García, RHP Casey Sadler, and INF Tyler White are some of the most likely candidates to be designated for assignment.
The deadline to add prospects to the 40-man roster is 8 pm ET (5 pm PT).
